Research & Competitions
Arcademic's Director, Mike Spence is a multi-award-winning producer, director, WGGB screenwriter, Equity actor, editor and has been writing academic papers and speaking at conferences since 2015, with multiple publications. He is an honorary Professor who researches and writes about issues in the games industry and education, with a particular interest in gender balance.
Also he has been running national games development competitions in the UK since 2011 and is the appointed Chief and Skills Competition Manager of 3D Digital Game Art worldwide for Worldskills International; and the Honorary Chair for the International Alliance of Digital Games Education.
